Tenbury Apple Juice
The market for traditional variety apples in recent years has proved to be limited so in October 2005 Woodston Manor Partnership decided to start pressing their own apple juice. Since then, sales have increased and they now have several different varieties available,
The 75cl green glass bottles are 100% single variety apple juice.
Available from The Barn Shop (Tenbury Wells), Rochford Country Meats, and from the farm itself.
Our famously hand-cooked English crisps are planted and picked locally, then sliced, cooked, packed (and scoffed) here at Tyrrells Court Farm in Herefordshire. The soil is rich and red, and our farmers know their furrows better than most fellows know their friends. We like to do things a little differently to most.
As proud Herefordians we use potatoes from local farmers, our favourites being Lady Rosetta and Lady Claire. They’re the names of the potatoes, not the farmers. Just to be clear.
The thicker the cut, the posher the crisp. We’ve developed our thicker cut crisps to give the perfect colossal crunch for optimum satisfaction. It’s a subtle science.
In our book there’s only one way to cook crisps, and that’s by hand. Each batch is given special treatment to create super–curly, characterful crisps.
The Talbot Inn is nestled amidst the wonderful countryside of The Teme Valley in Worcestershire. Lovingly restored by its owners, this 19th century former coaching inn, combines eclectic style with a contemporary-rustic feel to provide the perfect environment to eat, drink and sleep!
Whether you are looking for a few quiet days in the countryside, peaceful long walks and delicious home cooked food or simply exploring the market towns of Ludlow, Leominster and Tenbury Wells, the Talbot Inn provides the perfect base for you to relax and get away from it all.
The bar area is split into four different areas which provides seating from large pew benches and tables, to areas with smaller intimate tables and the snug. Two wood burning fires add to the atmosphere and ambience of the Inn during the colder months.
The style of food at the Talbot Inn is very much about sourcing seasonal produce locally and transforming it into inspirational dishes.

Robinsons Cider only produces limited amounts of premium quality cider each year.
To keep control of what’s going on and to maintain standards they make only two products, one for retail outlets and the other for on premise consumption.
When you taste either of Robinsons Ciders you can tell they’ve thought hard about what they wanted to do and that they make it with great care. Robinsons Cider is just…well…different. If you drink it already you’ll already know, if you don’t you have an interesting experience in store!
These two Robinsons ciders are quite different to one another, both very distinctive in character and intended for entirely different occasions. They only use traditional cider apple varieties and don’t use any cooking apples or eating apples.
The Baiting House is the perfect country pub, set in stunning
countryside on the Herefordshire / Worcestershire borders.
At the Baiting House we take full advantage of the amazing variety of quality produce available from all around us – wherever possible here in the Teme Valley, but also from our neighbours in the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The only ingredients where we have to look further afield is for fish, given that both counties are landlocked, but even here we have an amazing fishmonger who supplies us with fresh fish every day.
Our passion for fresh, local ingredients is what led to the award of an AA 2 Rosette award for culinary excellence within 12 months of our opening.
Our traditional bars offer a selection of draught local ales and ciders, domestic and international lagers as well as a carefully selected wine list.
Relax at one of our tables or in a comfy armchair in the snug and enjoy our delicious ales or seat yourself by one of the roaring fires and sample one of the 40+ gins we stock. We also have an extensive selection of soft drinks.
Our wine list is updated regularly and has a great selection of wines from around the world - from familiar favourites such as pinot grigio and merlot to more adventurous stuff that you might not have tried before (try our Lebanese red - it's delicious!).
We have six bedrooms here at the Baiting House – three in the main pub building and three in a purpose-built annex to the rear.
All our rooms have been recently refurbished to a very high standard and offer comfy beds, Egyptian cotton linens, Flat Screen TVs, complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryers and luxury toiletries.
Inspired by the incredible versatility of fresh herbs and coming from a long line of avid gardeners and foodies, it was only natural for Sophie Lane Fox to start her own business bringing all of this together.
A Little Bit champions the use of fresh herbs, with each recipe capturing a ‘just-picked’ taste.
The collection is now being expanded with the introduction of A Little Bit Saucy. Continuing the herbalicious theme, the collection includes Rosemary & Tomato Ketchup and a Spicy Tomato & Sage Pasta Sauce. Inspired to deliver quick and simple mealtime solutions - the range benefits from the use of wholesome, natural ingredients and offers retailers an eye-catching collection of condiments.
Oldfields cider is produced locally on our family run farm in the Teme Valley, Worcestershire.
At Oldfields we’re devoted to crafting quality cider made from freshly pressed apples. All our ciders are concentrate free, meaning they are crammed full of natural flavour!
We’re a traditional Teme valley farm with a mix of enterprises; keeping sheep and cattle since 1960, harvesting hops since ‘79 and commercially growing cider apples for the last 17 years.
That Teme Valley mindset of diversifying has helped us become a successful hop farm. And it’s why we were so interested in 2013 when Hobsons Brewery decided they wanted to diversify too. They wanted to make a quality, local cider from the finest ingredients, so we joined forces. Because if there’s one thing we’ve been doing at Oldfields for even longer than keeping sheep, it’s making cider!
